Water was coming up everywhere at moms place. She couldn't flush, do dishes or laundry, etc.. We were thinking perhaps there was a blockage at the main line and tryed some plumbing solution and later a snake router. Didn't work. Turns out we just needed a septic tank pump out. I called 5 companies and Elrod Septic Service was tied for first place for best price. I saw a few bad reviews for the other one and didn't get the best feeling when on the phone with them. I chose Elrod. They came out right away and it turns out we just had a full tank. His technician or whatever you call them was very professional and anwered all our questions. There was also a pipe that was misaligned and he got that fixed too. What was nice is that they didn't charge extra to come to North Port. - Timothy R.

Recently I was having problems with my septic and I was worried that I might need the septic tank replaced. Initially my plan was to call someone from the Port Charlotte search results but I decided to first ask a few friends who they would recommend. To my surprise, all three told me to use Elrod Septic. It turns out I didn't need a new septic tank installed after all. The home was built in the 80s and I don't know when the septic was last serviced. To my relief all that was needed was a tank pumping. After the tank was pumped they ran a test or inspected something and gave it the okay. It's been a few months and no problems whatsoever. I appreciate their honesty. Afterward I asked around about what others thought of what they charged me. I got several "wow, I wish I would have used them" remarks. So the cost was more than reasonable vs what others paid elsewhere - Joe Cerniglia

Elrod Septic came in and fixed a botched drain field on my new home. There were huge boulders left directly under the drain field that made it impossible for the system to work properly. The owner is very honest, respectful and totally professional. The crew came out and went above and beyond making sure my family and I were comfortable. Ronnie and his crew came out to an industrial site we were developing and installed a low pressure grinder station. They arrived on time. We walked the site and went over everything. They quickly and efficiently conquered the task. When they packed up and left everything was as if they weren't there.
